As the Director of School, my role has me involved with almost every aspect of the school. I have been at JSS for over 40 years, and my favorite part is still spending time with students! So I always make sure to have classes with different groups each year.
Fun fact: I make the best brownies in the world!
Being the Head and a teacher of the Official Spanish Program is a challenge, but with patience and hard work our students find success with ease!
Fun fact: I was a gymnast and ballerina in my younger days!
I have been the secretary of school for over 20 years now, so I'm your go-to contact for information about the day-to-day. I also give English as a Second Language classes to students who may need more support.
Fun fact: I love bringing my dog to school!
I joined the JSS team in 2018, and I have taught at different educational levels. However, most of my classes are focused on the social sciences. The thing I love the most about teaching is the chance to have a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Fun Fact: I know all the words to the original PokeRap!
I have been at Judy Sharp School since 2017 and have spent the majority of my time working in our middle school department. Though the subjects I teach range widely, I usually teach social studies and science!
Fun fact: I can deadlift 153 kilograms!
Since joining the Judy Sharp School team in 2019, I have found my niche in teaching Fine Arts and English at various educational levels. I love having the opportunity to get creative with our students!
Fun Fact: I play "the keys" in a band!
Since childhood I’ve been passionate about teaching. My academic background is in English and Special Needs teaching. I’m always eager to learn new things and cooperate with students to get the best out of our experiences together!
Fun fact: Some of my best friends are horses!
I studied Chemistry in the University of Valladolid, where I found a passion for science, learning and of course, teaching. My main goal for this year is to give the kids a scientific approach to life and to make critical thinking an integral part of the way they view the world.
Fun fact: I have a podcast!
I've been the school psychologist for over a decade. My particular field of study was Families with Diverse Cultural Backgrounds, which has served me well working with the diverse student body here at Judy Sharp. I look forward to getting to know your family!
Fun Fact: I love sharing popcorn in groups!
I, too, am a veteran here at Judy Sharp School. I've been teaching English to high school students for nearly 30 years and continue to enjoy every minute of it!
