I have been at JSS now for nearly a decade! My favorite part of teaching is making a unique connection with each and every student and helping them find where they shine.

Cheryl Osborn

I've been the school psychologist for over a decade. My particular field of study was Families with Diverse Cultural Backgrounds, which has served me well working with the diverse student body here at Judy Sharp. I look forward to getting to know your family!

David Dotson

This is year 7 here at JSS and I can't wait to see what this year has to offer! The thing I love the most about teaching is the chance to have a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Elia Calleja

I’ve worked in education for several years, supporting students and families in both English and Spanish. With a bachelor's degree in business and a background in graphic design, I keep things organized and add a creative touch when I can!

Laila Sholtz-Ames

Laila Sholtz-Ames is a certified teacher from New England (Maine and Massachusetts) who has over ten years of teaching experience in China, America, and Spain. She has earned her Masters in Teaching. Laila enjoys teaching mainly English, humanities, writing, and art!

Fun fact: I ran the Barcelona Marathon!

STEM Teacher | Master's Biotechnology

Liliana De La Hoz

I'm a mathematician with a master's degree in biotechnology and several years of experience teaching in international school environments. What I'm most passionate about and I strive to highlight in my classes is the power of math to model all sorts of phenomena in biology.

Louise Aulbach

As the former Director of School, my role has had me involved with almost every aspect of the school. I have been at JSS for over 40 years, and my favorite part is still spending time with students! So I always make sure to have classes with different groups each year.

Maria Martinez

Since childhood I’ve been passionate about teaching. My academic background is in English and Special Needs teaching. I’m always eager to learn new things and cooperate with students to get the best out of our experiences together!

Mercedes Yoon

I, too, am a veteran here at Judy Sharp School. I've been teaching English to high school students for nearly 30 years and continue to enjoy every minute of it!
