At Judy Sharp International School, we believe that it takes a village to raise a child. As a result, we make it a priority to foster community within the student body and with families. On this page, you can find a few examples of our school family.

Our school maintains an open-door policy for parents as we seek to create a family environment for all parties involved. Education is a team effort, and without all of us working together, we can't expect to find success. The school holds parent "get-togethers," where you will have a chance to meet with peers who are dealing with similar struggles and to share successes. We also have a number of ways in which we attempt to foster community among the student body. Below you will find a few examples.
Striving to be one of the best international schools in Madrid isn't just about academics. Each school year, we attempt to foster a family environment within our school community. We know that this is only possible by engaging students both inside and outside of the classroom. As a result, we have "schoolwide" events at least once a month. These range from community lunches and social-emotional clubs to Thanksgiving and Halloween celebrations. These moments provide an opportunity for students to get to know their peers and teachers on a deeper level, which is a critical part of the growth process.
We know that our students come from varied and diverse backgrounds, and as such, we attempt to remind our students of the world around them. Each year, we hold a "food drive" that directly benefits the less fortunate in our Madrid community. Students also participate in a "Walk-A-Thon" each spring, where they raise funds to support a charitable organization, which students choose amongst different candidates. The school also strives to provide students with the opportunity to get involved in their community through volunteer work. At Judy Sharp, we want our students to see themselves as part of a global community. We don't just want to connect to our Madrid community, but to our world.
We would love to stay in touch or have you come share your experience with our students!
We'd love to hear your thoughts about your child's experience at school!
The Judy Sharp School strives to meet the needs of all its students, regardless of their financial situation. To that effect, our Equal Opportunities Fund provides partial financial aid to families that are unable to meet the full-tuition costs. This
is possible in part thanks to the contributions of our alumni and other friends of the Judy Sharp School. We invite you to contribute to this Fund.
