unlock opportunities in Spain and beyond

Graduation & Homologación

Guidance for International University Admissions

At Judy Sharp School, we understand the importance of providing our students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for success in both their academic and professional lives. We are one of the few private schools in Madrid to offer both an US High School Diploma and a Combined Studies Plan that allows students to obtain the Official Spanish titles of ESO and/or Bachillerato. This provides our students with the opportunity to pursue their academic and career goals both in the United States, Spain, and in other international systems.

Our United States High School Diploma program is designed to provide students with a rigorous and challenging curriculum that meets the highest standards of education in the United States. This program is recognized by colleges and universities across the United States and around the world, giving our students the flexibility to pursue their academic and career goals wherever they choose. To receive the American High School Diploma, students will need to complete a total of 22 credits, with passing grades in American Literature, United States History, and Government. Other requirements include having taken a sufficient number of credits in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

In addition to our US High School Diploma program, we also offer the required courses to allow students to complete the process of legalization, or recognition of studies, which is necessary for students who wish to continue their studies in a non-US university in Spain.

Support for Academic Homologation

At Judy Sharp School, we understand that in today’s globalized world, students come

from diverse backgrounds and have different goals and aspirations, and we are

committed to providing them with the resources and support they need to achieve their

dreams. We know how common it is now for families to be on the hunt for "Colegios Americanos".

With our US High School Diploma and Combined Plan of Studies Program, our

students have the flexibility and freedom to pursue their academic and professional

goals, wherever they may take them.

In order to provide our students with this freedom of future choice, we offer the required

courses to allow students to complete the process of Recognition of Studies, or

Homologación, which is necessary for students who wish to access Spanish

universities.
