At Judy Sharp International School, we believe every student deserves an education that meets them where they are — and helps them grow into who they’re meant to become. We’re proud to offer inclusive, individualized support for students in Grades 6–12 who learn differently.

Whether your child is navigating ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum differences, or struggles with social-emotional learning, we’re ready to provide not just accommodations but real partnership.

Our students are bright, creative, and complex — but many arrive after feeling unseen or unsupported in traditional classrooms. They may have bounced between systems or been told what they "can't do." At JSS, we reframe the conversation. We focus on what each student can do when given the right tools, attention, and environment.

In small classes (typically no more than 6–8 students), teachers adapt instruction in real time. That means less one-size-fits-all, more meaningful connection. For students with learning differences, this often makes the difference between surviving and thriving.

• ADHD – Executive functioning focused and supportive routines
• Dyslexia – Multisensory reading interventions, support teachers, and extra time on tasks
• Autism – Social-emotional coaching, sensory accommodations, visual schedules, and communication scaffolds
• Social-Emotional Needs – SEL embedded across the curriculum, school counselor access, and specific time dedicated to SEL each week.

All students receive a individualized learning plan (ILP) that is regularly reviewed and updated in collaboration with families.

Our educators are not only experienced in inclusive education — they chose it. Every staff member receives ongoing training in neurodiversity, executive functioning, and restorative classroom practices.

Our support staff includes:

• An SEN coordinator
• A  school psychologist
• Access to bilingual specialists (speech, occupational, and behavioral therapy via referral)

Learning happens best in a space where students feel safe. We take care to build trusting relationships and consistent structures so students who’ve struggled with anxiety, frustration, or rejection in school can rebuild their confidence.

We also recognize the importance of parent partnership — and we make space for it, through regular check-ins, flexible communication, and shared decision-making.
